And if you can find the activities you care about, you, and your family and friends can enjoy them.

3 Easy Steps to Promote YOU

 

Step 1: create your account or view about video

  • Open your browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, etc.).
     

  • Type www.enjoybashaw.com in the address bar.
     

  • Under 'Post Your Event', click 'Register Your Organization.'
     

  • Fill in the form.
     

  • What you enter in the top box begins your Directory page and will be visible to the world.

  • What you enter in the bottom box is private ie. it will not be displayed on the web page
     

  • The system sends you an email with your password.
     

  • You’re set to go!

  • Don't have the time to set up your profile? Contact me. (See examples below.)


 

NOTE:

  • Please create only one account for your business or organization. You (and we) don’t want multiple directory listings for the same organization.

Step 2: COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE AND DIRECTORY PAGE

 



(If you’re not already logged in) Below 'Post Your Event',

  • Enter your registered email.  Account Manger email and password (case sensitive). Click 'Sign In'.
     
  • Click 'View Profile' to see your starting Directory page.
     

  • Your address, public email and phone are visible.
     

  • Click 'Edit Profile' to add descriptions, hours, graphics, and links to your website such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

  • Note web links to world wide webpages need to start with http:// otherwise you stay on this site.  See info below about adding graphics.
     

  • Click 'SAVE CHANGES' and you’re done!

  • When done, always click 'SIGN OUT'.

Step 3: ADD YOUR EVENTS

 



 

(If you’re not already logged in) Under 'Post Your Event',

  • Enter your registered email and password, click 'Sign In'. (same as above)
     
  • Click 'Post Events'.
     

  • Add your event, location, start and end dates, and times.
     

  • Click on the category(s) it fits in.
     

  • If the event repeats on multiple days, click the 'Repeats' tab so the options you need will appear.

  • Add the content to the event (you can use your copy and paste feature for this.)

  • Add a graphic (make sure it is under 15 kb)  If not, use the 'resize' option (scroll down.)
     

  • If you need to change an event, click 'Edit Events'  then click the 'pencil' icon beside the event title you want to edit.
     

  • Click 'SAVE EVENT' after you have made all your changes. You’re done!

  • When you are finished editing your event page(s), always click on 'SIGN OUT'

 

NOTE:

  • Your events will post immediately and you can promote your events for free for as long as you wish.

What does EnjoyBashaw cost to use?

Nothing. It is provided free to you compliments of the Bashaw Chamber Members. Place your events for free, and reach thousands of regional residents and visitors.


Having problems loading pictures or logos?

Most times your picture needs to be resized so it fits.  Graphics take up lots of space. To be viewed online they can be resized smaller so they load quickly.

If you don't have a photo program for resizing, here is a place that will do it for you easily. 

Resize your digital photo images in three easy steps!

  1. Select the image you would like to resize with [Browse button]
  2. Select the size you would like your new image to be.
  3. Click on okay and wait for the next page to showup. (Can take up to a couple minutes depending on file size.)

Save the resized image on your computer by right clicking and saving to a folder (note the file will be renamed) and email it to a friend, family, colleague or office. You also can now upload it to this site.

  • Personalized, automated bi-weekly eLetters. Visitors will be able select the event categories, terms and specific organizations they want to know about.

    • Sign up now and we’ll let you know as soon as the new features are available.

       

  • Custom RSS feeds.

    • You can already subscribe to EnjoyBashaw news articles in Google Reader or other news feeds. Soon you can select feeds for the categories or organizations you want, and drop them into your website!

       

  • Directory navigation and search

    • Directory listings need to be much more usable. Visitors will have filtered access to restaurants, bands, service and support organizations, etc.
       

  • Event mapping

    • Auto-mapping of organizations, venues, events, along with directions to events.
