Chamber Meeting Highlights

April 9, 2013

The Chamber met on April 9^th at noon at the Emergency Operations Centre at the arena. President Ron Shantz and his wife, Penny made lunch for all who attended. We were very happy to have 17 people in attendance from local businesses and organizations.

Some quick updates from the Chamber Meeting:

• Penny Shantz and Jason Olson will co-chair the Tourism Booth Committee

• Website usage continues to be consistent. Have you updated your profile lately?

• Community Bulletin Board is coming, we are just waiting on the weather

• Treasurer Position was filled by Kirsten Nugent and the Bookkeeper Position was filled by Marion Hartel. Thank you ladies for stepping into those roles.

• A Committee was struck to discuss website collaboration with the town in an effort to support the desire of the community to unify events and calendars, etc.

• Our new member window/door logos will be available by the end of April.. Please let Peter know if you want one otherwise you can pick them up at the May Meeting.

Next Meeting: May 7 @ Emergency Operations Room at the Arena, 1pm – Lunch will be provided for $6.00/person. Watch for the email invite and let us know you're coming to our next meeting.
